Alta Video offers AI-assisted search and event tools to help operators narrow down relevant footage. Depending on the cameras, deployment and licensed features, searches can use characteristics and event information to focus an investigation.
We design coverage around the questions you need to answer: what happened at an entrance, when a vehicle arrived or which area needs attention. Camera placement and image quality remain essential; software cannot recover detail that was never captured.

Cloud-managed does not mean that every recording is automatically stored off site. Alta deployments can use supported local recording and cloud storage or backup options, depending on the equipment and service selected.
We discuss retention, internet performance, outage behaviour and subscription requirements before specifying the system. Compatible third-party cameras may be brought into the platform using Alta Cloud Connectors, allowing a considered upgrade rather than assuming every camera must be replaced.
