01 / Recording with options
Two drives. A considered choice.
The Ajax NVR H2D series brings two hot-swappable hard-drive bays to local video recording. Drives can be serviced without powering down the recorder, helping make maintenance more manageable.
Digilec sizes the recorder and drives around your camera count, image settings and desired retention period. We then select the recording mode that best fits your priorities.

Redundancy mode
The same footage. On both drives.

Records matching footage to both disks, providing a second copy if one drive fails. A practical choice when recording resilience matters most.
Split mode
More capacity. Shared across two drives.

Alternates recording segments across the drives to use the combined storage capacity and balance the load. This is not a duplicate copy of every recording.
Two drives in one recorder protect against different risks from an off-site copy. Redundancy does not protect against loss of the whole recorder through theft, fire or damage.
02 / Hybrid light cameras
Quietly watching. Colour when it matters.
Compatible Ajax HL and HLVF cameras can use infrared illumination for discreet black-and-white night viewing, then switch on white light when a selected subject is detected. We can configure the trigger for people, vehicles or both.
The visible light can act as a deterrent while capturing colour video and recordings, helping reveal useful details such as clothing or vehicle colour. Detection zones and illumination are set around your entrance, driveway or perimeter.

Fixed lens. Clear purpose.
A well-chosen fixed lens gives dependable coverage of a defined scene, from a reception to a side entrance.
Varifocal. Precisely framed.
A motorised varifocal lens lets us adjust the field of view to suit the location. Selected Ajax models offer up to 8-megapixel resolution for detailed images, with lighting and positioning matched to the job.

Ajax’s JetSparrow video technology supports responsive viewing and smooth timeline scrubbing. Move through recordings, jump to events and export the useful clip without reviewing hours of irrelevant footage.
On supported cameras, AI event filters help you narrow the search to people, vehicles or pets. A delivery at the front door or activity in the car park becomes easier to find.

We set up detection areas, notification preferences and user access around your routine. Prompt app alerts help you check activity quickly; delivery and viewing speed depend on connectivity, device settings and the chosen configuration.
Check the entrance from reception, keep an eye on deliveries from the office, or view the driveway from your living room. Ajax TV brings camera viewing to supported Apple TV and Android TV devices, with a four-camera layout and full-screen viewing.

The TV app receives video over the network, so there is no need for a dedicated HDMI cable or long-distance HDMI extender run from the recorder to that room. A compatible TV or streaming device, suitable connectivity and authorised access are still required; a separate streaming box connects locally to the TV.
Digilec can include television viewing in your installation and handover, so the cameras are easy to use where you actually need them.
05 / Local recording or cloud

Local recording. Free everyday app access.
A suitable Ajax NVR stores footage on your own hard drives. Standard Ajax app access and local recording do not require a recurring Ajax software licence or mandatory cloud-storage subscription.
Hardware, installation, connectivity and any chosen maintenance or monitoring services are separate.
Optional cloud storage.
Ajax Cloud Storage provides subscription-based, event recording for supported cameras. It can add an off-site record of relevant activity alongside your local storage, subject to the selected plan and connection.
We confirm compatibility, event coverage, retention and subscription costs before you choose. Event-based cloud clips are different from a continuous NVR archive.
06 / One connected system
Cameras and alarms. One familiar app.
When Ajax CCTV and an Ajax alarm are installed together, authorised users can view cameras and manage alarm functions through the same Ajax app. Less switching between systems, with the context to understand what has happened.
Ajax video products use NDAA-compliant hardware, encrypted communications and configurable access permissions. Digilec sets up individual access and practical handover, helping you keep control of who can view and manage your system.
We have already brought Ajax cameras, NVR recording and Ajax Fibra intruder protection together for the Paddington Bear Experience project. That practical installation experience informs the systems we design for our customers.
