A better experience at every door.

From the first arrival to the last person leaving, the details make the difference. We bring the software, readers and locking together around your building and the people using it.

Start with the building.
Choose the right system.

New installations

A clear brief. A complete scope.

We start with the people, doors and areas you need to manage. A site survey turns those requirements into a practical equipment and installation proposal, including cabling, power, network connections and door hardware.

Existing buildings

Upgrade with a plan.

For a replacement or extension, we review what is already fitted and what can sensibly be retained. We agree the changeover and access arrangements around the people who use the building.

Construction & refurbishment

Work with the project team.

We coordinate with main contractors, M&E teams, architects and door suppliers on the programme, responsibilities and door schedules. Access control becomes part of the wider delivery plan.

Survey to handover.
One coordinated delivery.

Survey & scope

Review the doors, users, operating hours, existing equipment and management requirements. Identify the interfaces and information needed from the project team.

Design & select

Choose the access platform, credentials, readers, controllers and locks. Confirm the agreed exit arrangements, power supplies, network and server or subscription requirements.

Install & commission

Fit and connect the equipment, configure permissions and schedules, and test the agreed door behaviour and interfaces. Plan works around the site’s access needs.

Handover & support

Show the nominated team how to manage everyday access, provide the agreed documentation and explain maintenance and support options.

Your vision.
Our attention to detail.

A good installation starts with a conversation about how the building should work. We help turn that brief into a coordinated design, an agreed scope and a confident handover.

  • One coordinated approach to doors, hardware and software.
  • Clear responsibilities for your project team.
  • Support that continues after installation.
Let’s talk about your project ↗

The right technology.
The right fit.

Some buildings need cloud management across several sites. Others suit a locally managed system or wireless access on selected internal doors. We recommend the approach around your operation, existing equipment and budget.

We work with DoorFlow, Avigilon Alta, Paxton, Salto and other access platforms, with readers and locking from manufacturers including HID, Axis Communications, ASSA ABLOY and ABLOY.

  • Cards, fobs and compatible mobile credentials.
  • Wired doors and suitable wireless locking.
  • Intercom, CCTV and building-system integration.
  • Doors, gates, barriers and lift access where required.
  • Administration for a single building or several sites.

Equipment compatibility and supported features are confirmed during design. The selected locking and release arrangements follow the requirements established for the building.

Security behind the experience.

For Gamepath at The Paddington Bear Experience, Digilec installed DoorFlow cloud access control with Axis door controllers and HID readers. The team could manage access through the same web platform used for its other sites.

The wider project also included Ajax intruder detection and a dedicated video system for the shop and entrance.

Keep the system working.

Digilec can maintain the installation, investigate faults and support authorised configuration changes. Remote assistance is available where the system supports it and the required access is in place.

Service agreements can include planned visits, reduced call-out rates and agreed response targets. We also offer one-off fault call-outs, including for systems installed by another company.

Your questions.
Clear next steps.

What do you need to quote for an access control installation?

Send the site address, approximate number of doors, building use and any drawings or door schedules you have. Tell us about your current system, preferred platform and target programme. We can then establish what needs a survey and prepare an appropriate proposal.

Do you work directly with businesses and with contractors?

Yes. We support end users and facilities teams as well as main contractors, electrical contractors and M&E project teams. We agree the scope and responsibilities around the way the project is being delivered.

Can you extend a system rather than replace it?

Yes, where the existing equipment and platform support the proposed changes. We assess the condition, available capacity and compatibility before recommending what to keep or replace.

Can I start planning before a site survey?

Yes. Our access control system builder helps organise initial requirements. Its material list is a planning aid; final equipment and quantities are confirmed during design and survey.

Let’s plan your
next installation.

Send us the site details, door count and what you need the system to do. We’ll help turn the requirements into a practical installation proposal.
