Cards not working.
Readers not responding.
Investigation of unresponsive HID and other access readers, rejected cards or fobs, reader power and communication faults, and access permissions.
Access control maintenance, fault finding and engineer call-outs.
When a reader stops responding or a door will not secure, you need someone who understands the whole system. Digilec supports facilities teams, building managers and commercial operators with practical fault investigation, planned servicing and ongoing technical support.
Access control faults can start at the door, the power supply, the controller or the software. Our engineers investigate what has stopped working, identify the cause and carry out repairs or advise on the work needed to restore dependable operation.
Investigation of unresponsive HID and other access readers, rejected cards or fobs, reader power and communication faults, and access permissions.
Support for access-controlled doors that leave authorised users locked out, fail to secure or operate intermittently. We check the locking hardware, release signals and door operation together.
Fault finding across access door controllers, power supplies, network connections and wireless lock communication, including problems affecting several doors.
You do not need a service agreement to request an emergency access control call-out. Tell us about the fault and its impact, and we will confirm the attendance options and charges.
Access control servicing checks more than whether a card opens a door. We assess the equipment and door functions together, helping identify wear, battery issues and developing faults before they interrupt access or leave an area unsecured.
Check power supply operation, connections and condition, along with standby battery condition and backup operation where fitted.
Check reader response, controller communication and authorised credential operation, including the way permissions and schedules affect each door.
Check that locks engage and release correctly, assess door alignment and closing, and investigate signs of wear or intermittent operation.
Carry out functional tests of emergency break-glass units, request-to-exit devices and fitted override arrangements, coordinating tests with the building team and checking normal operation is restored.
Check battery condition, device operation and communication with the access system, including Aperio handles, electronic locks and associated hubs.
Record the checks and identified issues, explain recommended repairs or replacements, and help your team plan the next steps.
The maintenance schedule and test scope are agreed around your equipment, the building’s requirements and how the system is used.
A service agreement gives your team a clear plan for looking after access control and getting help when something goes wrong. We tailor the arrangements around the system, the site and how critical each door is to your operation.
Agreed contract rates for reactive attendance help make fault support more predictable when additional visits are needed.
Scheduled servicing visits keep routine care organised, with checks agreed for your equipment and coordinated around building operations.
Choose a response arrangement that reflects your needs. Options can include next-day, two-day or three-day response targets, as agreed in your service contract.
Email and telephone support give your team access to technical help. Where the platform and authorised access allow it, remote investigation may help resolve an issue or prepare for an engineer’s visit.
We agree the scope, support hours and response targets with you. Response time covers the agreed response or attendance; repair time depends on the fault and any parts required.
We service and support wired, wireless, cloud-managed and on-premise access control solutions. You do not have to replace a system to get dependable support: we can assess an existing installation, investigate faults and discuss taking on its maintenance—even if Digilec did not install it.
Support for Aperio wireless locking, including H100 handles and L100 electronic locks. Fault investigation covers battery issues, devices not operating, communication faults and integration with the wider access control system.
Support for HID and other access readers, Axis and other door controllers, cards and fobs not being recognised, controller communication faults and the power or release signals that operate the door.
Support across access control technologies including DoorFlow, Avigilon Alta, Paxton, Salto, Vingcard and Primo, alongside their associated readers, controllers and locking hardware. We assess the installation and required access before agreeing the support scope.
If you are unsure which system is fitted, send us the reader or lock model, a photograph, or any information you have. We can help establish what is installed and the appropriate next step.
Yes. We offer one-off call-outs to investigate access control faults without an existing service agreement. We confirm the attendance arrangements and charges with you before the visit.
Yes. We can assess an existing installation and agree a support and maintenance scope around its condition, the equipment fitted and access to the management platform.
Yes. Our engineers investigate reader, controller, power and locking faults together, including doors that fail to unlock, fail to secure or operate intermittently.
We can support Aperio H100 wireless handles and L100 electronic locks as part of the access control installation, checking battery condition, operation and communication with the associated system.
We agree response targets around the needs of your site. Options can include next-day, two-day or three-day responses. The contract sets out the support hours, attendance arrangements and scope.
Whether you need an access control engineer for a fault or a service agreement for an existing system, we can help you plan the next step.
Include the site details, system or model if known, the fault you are seeing and whether it affects one door or several. For planned maintenance, tell us what equipment you would like us to look after.
